DAVID  SHANNON, JR.

PRESIDENT AND CEO

David is a native Houstonian and began his land career as an independent field landman in 1989. During the period between 1989 and 1995, David worked for various lease brokers absorbing and learning the skills of being a landman. From 1995 to 1996, he worked exclusively as a Field Landman for Blackstone Holdings Partnership. In 1996, David formed Shannon & Wiliford, Inc., a firm specializing in field land work throughout South, Southeast and Gulf Coast Texas. The partnership and corporation dissolved in early 1999, and later that year David formed his partnership with Ben Webb, under the company name WSH Land, Inc.

 

Today, David is a principal of Centurion, and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. He specializes in managing the field landwork on behalf of the firm and interaction with the firm’s clients. David is an active member of the Houston Association of Professional Landmen, West Houston Association of Professional Landmen, the American Association of Professional Landmen, and the International Right-of-Way Association, as well as membership in numerous social clubs, and charitable organizations. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Houston.

LORI
RANDALL

VICE PRESIDENT / ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Lori and her family have called Houston home since 1978. She began her financial career in banking in 1976. Her love of accounting has led to various positions in both corporate and small business settings. She has over 30 years of experience in accounting.  Lori joined the firm as Accounting Manager in December 2005.

JOHN-DAVID PRICE

PROJECT MANAGER

John-David "J.D." is a native Texan, and after gaining his education in Biology at Texas Tech University he spent 11 years working in Telecommunications for both AT&T and Verizon. During this time he gained valuable experience as a Project Manager and Supervisor before moving into the Oil & Gas Industry.  Since then he has worked as both a Field Landman and Project Manager/Crew Chief.  Additionally, he has gained experience working on a contract basis in-house.  He has land experience working throughout Texas as well as various other parts of the country.  J.D. is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and the Houston Association of Professional Landmen.

THOMAS DAN
BLALOCK, JR

PROJECT MANAGER

Dan began his career in the Land business with the firm in 2004. Since joining the firm he has participated in a variety of projects throughout the state, primarily in central Texas, East Texas and the Barnett Shale. During this period he has been involved in all aspects of the business including lease checks, title, leasing, title opinions, due diligence as well as running crews for several of the firm's clients. Dan has a background in banking and real estate appraisal, and as a licensed commercial real estate appraiser, he specialized in the senior housing market, providing valuation and market study services on a nationwide basis. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and psychology from Westminster College, Fulton, MO. He is a member of AAPL.

PROJECT MANAGER

THOMAS
HEMINGWAY

Thomas began his career in 1980 as an independent landman working both in-house and as a field landman performing all land functions associated with mineral acquisitions, oil and gas leasing and acquisitions for pipeline rights-of-way. His expertise and experience covers real property negotiations and acquisitions, management of oil and gas leasehold estates, rail and pipeline corridors in and along the Texas Gulf Coast, East Texas, South Texas and West Texas. He has extensive experience budgeting and cost estimating pipeline and transportation right-of-way acquisitions and relocations.

 

Currently Thomas is a consulting project manager for Centurion involved in due diligence, pipeline litigation support and research, title curative and mineral acquisitions and management. He is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, International Right-of-Way Association, Houston Association of Professional Landmen and a Licensed Easement/Right-of-Way Agent, Registration #326, Texas Real Estate Commission. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of the Pacific.

RUSSELL
WILSON

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Russell is a native Houstonian and began his land career as an independent field landman in 2003. During this period, Russell performed a variety of land related functions on a contract basis, including oil & gas lease negotiation and acquisition, title research and curative, in-house and field producing property acquisition and divestiture due diligence in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico. Russell joined the firm in 2013 as an In-House Project Coordinator on projects for multiple clients conducting operations in various states. In his free-time he enjoys playing golf, hunting and fishing. Russell is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, the Houston Association of Professional Landmen and the West Houston Association of Professional Landmen.

MARK
PATTON

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Mark began his oil and gas landman career with the firm in 2006 and has remained ever since. Starting with seismic and lease agreements in Colorado County, Texas, Mark transferred in 2007 to the booming Barnett Shale play in Fort Worth and rode the roller coaster ups and downs as a leasing supervisor for over five years. From there, Mark has worked as a project manager in the Ohio Utica shale play overseeing time sensitive title research precipitating a large group bonus payout; managed a due diligence team for a leasehold acquisition in the Permian Basin; and is currently coordinating curative efforts in the Eagle Ford shale region in south Texas. His permanent residence is in Austin, Texas. Mark received education from SMU and UT. He has one fabulous daughter, Annie, who attends UT. His favorite leisure activities include virtually all sports, travel, reading and the great outdoors. Mark is a member of AAPL and FWAPL.

SIGA
PLIODZINSKAS

GIS TECHNICIAN

Siga earned a Geographic Information Science (GIS) Analyst Certificate from Houston Community College in 2006. Siga joined the firm in 2006, and is an integral member of the GIS Mapping Group. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Philology from Siauliai University in Lithuania.

MICHELLE
RANDALL

LEASE ADMINISTRATION

Michelle was born and raised in the Houston area, happy to call it home. She began her career experience in Oil & Gas interning for Shell Oil in the Exploration and Production group in 2002. She continued in the Oil & Gas industry throughout college, taking various assignments for BP and Chevron. Michelle joined the firm in September 2010, lending administrative, accounting and leasing support to the Houston office.
